It's Leap Day!
Which means tomorrow is the beginning of March!
Which means spring is in the air!
Of course, here in Central Texas, we were sitting at a beautiful almost 70 degrees, so maybe the beginning of March and spring-like weather isn't such a big deal. But let me tell you, in Southern Ontario and in Western New York we look for any sign of hope when it comes to the nicer temperatures.
The first of March is a good sign.
And Springtime is a great sign! It means the snow piles will start melting and the salt power will start washing off our cars. If you don't know what that means, consider yourself lucky.
But Central Texas, Southern Ontario or Western New York, springtime is still beautiful time to get married. It can be Crepe Myrtle beginning to bloom, tulips and daffodils bursting through the soil, or ferns and hostas beginning to pop up; but whichever plants we're looking forward to seeing and experiencing, spring brings not only the scent of them, but more intense feelings of love and a newfound appreciation of nature.
Outdoor weddings are beautiful. Full of, not only flowers, but hope and laughter, sunshine and flutters of butterflies, dragon-flies and hummingbirds.
If you are considering a spring wedding, you have lots of time and lots of opportunity!
I'd be happy to help you out, and would love to hear from you!
